The city of Boston rejoiced as the 2013 Fall Classic came to an end with the Red Sox pulling out an 4-2 series victory against the St. Louis Cardinals in game 6. Though the Card's featured two of the MLB's best pitchers in Wainwright and Wacha, it was not enough to hinder the bats of Boston's stout lineup.
It was 2004 all over again for the St. Louis Cardinals as the Boston Red Sox raked in their 8th World Series title. Spring training gets underway in mid February and then it's back to the dugout for the 2014 Opening Day.
