It'll Lift Ya Up! The good people of Detroit have been down on their luck now for awhile. Well, a trip to Comerica Park will help for at least for a few hours. The park combines a lot of fun activities for the kids, such as a Merry-Go-Round, with a great baseball atmosphere, and reminds me old-school Tiger fans of the great history of the franchise with monuments and retired numbers in the outfield. Comerica Park is truly the gem of downtown Detroit right now. The Tigers are trying to live up to the standard of the stadium and have struggled since coming on strong a few years ago. Tiger fans should take heart knowing that things will get better. For now at least they have a wonderful stadium and fun night to look forward to. August 25, 2010
Detroit Tigers World Series Game 3 We couldn't be happier with our experience and purchase from Ticket City! We were looking for 4 tickets to take our 2 boys to their first World Series game. It was our oldest son's 14th birthday...what a great way to spend a birthday! We found the prices to be significantly less than StubHub.com for seats in the same row! The service charge was quite a bit less, too! I became skeptical when the original tickets I purchased on line were not available, but Ruben did a great job of contacting me directly immediately via phone, and then providing us with better seats for the same price...in addition to a $15 discount and free shipping because the original seats were not available!! Comerica Park I made my first visit to Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers vs. Kansas City Royals game back in April. I am a KC fan and my boyfriend lives in Michigan and is a Tigers fan. I wore my Royals Jersey to the game and was a little nervous to see how the Tigers fans would respond. I was extremely impressed and surprised at their reaction. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The park is very clean and nice and I can't wait to take another trip there in a few weeks to see the Royals play the Tigers again!! September 11, 2010
