The Dodgers are one of the most iconic franchises in Major League Baseball, playing in the National League since 1890. Originally located in Brooklyn, the Dodgers have had their share of success through the more than a century of baseball. In 1890 Brooklyn got things off to a good start, tying in the World Series against the Louisville Colonels. From the 1940s to the 1960s the Dodgers were one of the most feared teams in baseball. In a 26-year span, Brooklyn/Los Angeles reached 11 World Series. Featuring some all-time talents like Pee Wee Reese, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Don Drysdale, Don Sutton and Sandy Koufax, the Dodgers won titles in 1955, 1959, 1963 and 1965. Titles aside, perhaps the biggest achievement the Dodgers reached during this time was the signing of Jackie Robinson, the first African American player in the Major Leagues. Robinson won Rookie of the Year, an MVP and made six All-Star games in his time with the Dodgers, plus he was an integral part of the 1955 World Series victory. The Tom Lasorda led Dodgers of the 1980s enjoyed their share of success as well, winning the franchise’s fifth and sixth World Series in 1981 and 1988. The Dodgers have retired the numbers of 10 former players and managers. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Los Angeles Dodgers baseball tickets.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants rivalry dates back to April 18, 1883. Both teams were based in New York at the time, and were battling for fans. Over a century later, the rivalry is still going strong. Currently, the Giants narrowly lead the regular season series. The series features renowned games such as “The Shot Heard Round the World” and Joe Morgan’s eighth inning three-run blast in 1982 to knock the Dodgers out of the pennant race.
Dodgers vs. Angels
The Freeway Series is one of the most competitive inner-city rivalries in all of baseball. The rivalry is one of the newest in baseball with the clubs first playing in the regular season in 1997. With stadiums separated by only 30 miles, games between these neighbors quickly became very competitive and important for both clubs. This rivalry represents the larger competition that is always active between Los Angeles County and Orange County and is the biggest baseball matchup in Southern California.
Dodgers vs. Yankees
The Dodgers and Yankees have one of the most interesting and storied histories of any rivalry in sports. The teams co-existed in New York for decades, with the rivalry beginning when they met for the 1941 World Series. Since then the Yankees and Dodgers have played over 10 World Series against each other, more than any other American and National League teams. These former neighbors have been two of the most successful clubs in the MLB, and this is one of the can’t-miss rivalries in sports.

Ticket City is the BEST! Looking for Dodger tickets online. First went to Dodger website, saw prices and said forget it! Then scrolled down to Ticket City website and couldn't believe prices for Dodger tickets! Less expensive than prices on Dodger website and GREAT seats! My package also included "Preferred Parking" which was great since I didn't have to wait in long parking entrance lines!Tickets were ordered on Friday and I received via Fed Ex next day in time for Dodger game on Saturday night. Wonderful online system and lucky for us the Dodgers won in extra innings! Great game...couldn't have done it without Ticket City! THANKS! August 10, 2010
Simply a Classic Dodger Stadium remains one of the few truly classic stadiums in baseball. Yes renovations have taken place over the years. But going to a game at Chavez Ravine still feels like old-time baseball at its best. Dodger fan or not, going to a game at Dodger Stadium is an experience any baseball fan can enjoy. August 25, 2010
