Milwaukee Brewers Preview History

2010 Milwaukee Brewers MLB Preview:
In 2008, the Milwaukee Brewers reached the MLB playoffs for the first time in 26 years. After falling short of fall ball last season, the Brew Crew are itching to return to postseason play in 2010 - and they've got a team with enough muscle to get the job done.

Two of the most exciting players in baseball, Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun, form the heart of the Brewers lineup. Standing 5'11'' and weighing 270 pounds, Fielder is a sight to behold as he uncoils on pitches left in the strike zone, shattering the air with his mighty swings. The two-time All-Star first baseman has whacked 50, 34 and 46 home runs in his last three seasons, respectively, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Ryan Braun, the second half of the Brewers' bash brothers combo, may seem downright skinny standing next to teammate Prince Fielder, but the left fielder packs a big punch. Braun won the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 2007, and has been torturing opposing pitchers ever since.

With the Beermakers sending balls out of the park on a nightly basis, young ace pitcher Yovani Gallardo will be the go-to guy to get outs and lead the Milwaukee club to postseason play.

2009 Milwaukee Brewers MLB Preview:
The Milwaukee Brewers come into 2009 after completing a highly successful 2008 season. The Brew Crew competed until the final days of the '08 season to earn a spot in the National League playoffs. Gone in 2009 is hired gun CC Sabathia, who moved on to a huge contract with the Yankees. Milwaukee returns a roster stacked with talent, though. From pitchers Jeff Suppan and Braden Looper to position players Prince Fielder and Rickie Weeks; there is no reason to think the 2009 Milwaukee Brewers cannot be even better than last year. Better for the Brewers could mean a trip to the World Series.

2008 Milwaukee Brewers MLB Preview:
Considered a “sleeper team” in the 2007 season, and finishing with the best record since the early 1990's - nearly making the playoffs - the Milwaukee Brewers truly are a team to watch this season. The Brewers have strong talent with players like Tony Gwynn Jr., Prince Fielder, and Ryan Braun, and look poised to take the Central Division this year and contend for tops of the National League. Brewers fans will fill majestic Miller Park by the tens of thousands to root for their home team to finally have the break out year Milwaukee has long dreamed about.
