San Francisco Giants Ticket Information

The San Francisco Giants are one of the oldest franchises in baseball. Tracing their roots back to the 1880s, the then-New York based franchise early on was one of the best in baseball. The Giants won the World Series in 1888, 1889 and 1905, getting the franchise off to a good start. For the next two decades New York remained elite, reaching back-to-back-to-back World Series from 1911 to 1913, but finished just short each time. After another loss in 1917, the Giants took home World Series titles three and four in 1921 and 1922. Things slowed down for New York after the 1930s. The Giants won just one championship (1954) and played in only two others from 1938 through 1988. The 1990s were the Barry Bonds era of Giants baseball. By now comfortably located in San Francisco, Bonds put on a display the likes of which baseball has never seen during his time in the Bay Area. In 15 years with the Giants, Bonds clubbed 586 home runs, an average of a little more than 39 homers per season. In 2010 the Giants finally won their first World Series since 1954, and then won their seventh championship just two years later in 2012. San Francisco has retired the numbers of 10 former players through the team’s illustrious history. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for San Francisco Giants baseball tickets.

San Francisco Giants Rivals Rivals

The Giants and Dodgers first began playing as rivals in the greater New York area in the 1880’s, and it has been a clash of baseball titans ever since. Both clubs moved to California in the 1950’s and became the quintessential baseball rivalry on the west coast. This rivalry that has been fought on two coasts, and been home to players like Koufax, Robinson, Mays, and McCovey, is one of the most historic, and awe inspiring matchups in any sport.

Giants vs. Athletics

Known as the Bay Bridge Series, this rivalry is one of the best matchups in interleague play. These two baseball powerhouses have met for 5 World Series titles dating all the way back to 1905. With the creation of interleague play in 1997 this became an annual series, and the rivalry intensified. Unlike other rivalries where tensions run high, this rivalry is often noted for its sportsmanship despite its competitiveness on the field.

Giants vs. Yankees

These two teams first met on the field in 1921, but the rivalry extends back even before that. For a brief period while both were in New York, they shared a stadium and competed for the hearts of NY City fans. The first “Subway Series” was between these two teams in 1921, and they met in the World Series 6 times while they were New York neighbors. The rivalry regained momentum with the creation of interleague play, and is one of the highlights of every season.

San Francisco Giants in the World Series, National League Championship Series and MLB Playoffs

Since 1958, the San Francisco Giants have continued the legacy the franchise started when the team was located in New York. In their 50+ years playing in the Bay Area, the Giants have won multiple World Series titles. San Francisco has also won 7+ division titles over the years and more than four NL pennants. The Giants will only add to the impressive numbers in the upcoming seasons.

Opening Day! I waited until the day before to purchase tickets to the Giants opening day 2014. TicketCity had the best prices by far. The Giants web wouldn't let me purchase, and stubhub prices were outrages. The process was easy and I downloaded the tickets within minutes of my purchase. No problems at all. Was a Great Day!!! Giants vs Arizona The experience buying tix through ticket city was flawless. I purchased them late Sat. Evening and had them on Tues. morning. Our game was Wed. Night. The seats were great and the price wS exceptional for where our seats were. No more Stub Hub for me. Go Giants via Ticket City. April 12, 2014
Loved At&t Park for a SF Giants game I saw the San Francisco Giants play at AT&T Park and loved the experience. The game was a night game in late Spring, so the temperature was a bit chilly. But aside from that everything about the Giants game was great. AT&T Park is located within walking distance of downtown San Fran. The park is located right on the bay, so the view from your seats is incredible. The concessions were a mix of ballpark favorites with some local favorites from San Francisco. You want a hot dog or pretzel, they've got it...but they also offer bay seafood and wines from Napa. I decided that a Pacifico and nachos was the right mix of traditional ballpark fare & unique to San Fran. The game was great, with the Giants pulling off a victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. San Fran has some of the best, young pitchers in baseball so this is an exciting time to see a Giants game. August 24, 2010
Best Ballpark in the Country! I have been to AT&T park many times and am always overwhelmed with the stunning location and the great employees at the park. Last season, AT&T along with TicketCity, went above and beyond. My wife and I got to the park and discovered we had forgotten our front row tickets. The folks at the ticket window were at a loss to help at first because we did not purchase the tickets through a team affiliate. I reached someone by phone at TicketCity on a Sunday!! She e-mailed the receipt to my I-phone while I was still standing at the ticket window. The wonderful lady at the ticket counter looked at the receipt and re-printed my tickets. Like I said... The best ballpark and great service from TicketCity!! April 3, 2012
