Texas Rangers Tickets in 2024

The Texas Rangers are the defending World Series champions so there is a lot of demand to see them both at home and on the road. The biggest games of 2024 include their Opening Day game against the Chicago Cubs (March 24). Tickets for that game are starting upwards of $200 a seat as fans want to show up to see Texas raise a Championship banner at Globe Life Field. That price is 5x a typical home game which is often around $40 for a "get in" ticket. Other big games include their series against the Astros, Diamondbacks, Padres (July 4th game), Red Sox and Yankees.

Fans looking for cheap tickets to a Rangers game this season should check out some of their weekday games like Mon, May 13th against the Guardians, or White Sox on Tues, July 23rd, where tickets often start around $30 a seat. There is demand this year for Rangers home games, but there are still affordable options for many of their games. There are also some folks who come to experience the amazing baseball atmosphere at Globe Life Field which is a newer ballpark. The fans who buy Rangers tickets know they are going to be treated to a good game at a great ballpark, which makes them a popular entertainment option in Big D.

What are the hottest games on the Rangers schedule? The biggest games each year are their home opener and the home series they play over the Fourth of July weekend. The rivalry games that bring the most fans to the park are the Astros, Angels, Red Sox and Yankees. None bigger than when the Rangers play the Astros as the rivalry between the City of Dallas and City of Houston remains alive and well. That spirited in-state rivalry means that demand for Rangers vs Astros tickets is the strongest among the games on Texas' home schedule. Other big Rangers series include any time the Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees visit Arlington. New York and Boston are both national brands, with fans around the country, so they will bring a lot of folks to the ball park which in-turn gets more Rangers fans attending.

The biggest Rangers home games of the season is always their opening day game. That will be no different this season as fans also turn out to see the Rangers play a game in their state-of-the-art ballpark. Opening games are magical because fans get to see this year's Rangers team and form early opinions whether Texas has the team to make a deep run in the MLB playoffs which may even mean a return trip to the World Series.

The division games for Texas still draw a big crowd particularly when the Rangers are in contention within the AL West.

Rangers Games at Globe Life Field

The Texas Rangers draw fans in part because they play in the amazing Globe Life Field. Globe Life Field is located in Arlington directly across the street from their old home, Globe Life Park. It is also just a long fly ball from AT&T Stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play. Globe Life Field has a capacity of 40,300 baseball fans for a big Rangers home game like when the Stros, Yankees or Red Sox are in-town to play Texas.

What makes Globe Life Field so popular is that it is a newwe park and offers premium amenities with terrific views from the seats. There are plenty of great places to sit including exclusive seats like the Lexus Club area behind home plate. The box seats behind the Lexus Club include Sections 1-26, where Sections 6-21 are located and in the infield. Right above the lower-level box seats are the Mezzanine-level tickets, which include Sections 100-127, where Section 114 is directly behind home plate.

Fans who want a slightly less expensive ticket should look in the upper-level which includes the the Pavilion level seats and the Upper Boxes. The Pavilion seats are closer to the railing on that upper-deck so they are popular with fans who want a great overview of the action on the field. Fans can often field Pavilion-level seats in the infield (Sections 213-216) in the first three rows. That type of seat can often list for sale around $30 a seat for midweek games, and offer an amazing view of the game. The Upper Box seats at Globe Life Field are typically among the least expensive seats for a Rangers home game. Although the cheapest place to sit for a Rangers game may be the Outfield Pavilion seats in Right Field (Sections 233-236) which may be under $15 per ticket for some game.

Driving to Globe Life Field

For fans driving to Global Life Field to see a Rangers game, should head to the ballpark 1 to 1.5 hours prior to first pitch if they are coming from Dallas. It takes just over 20 minutes from downtown Dallas if there is only light traffic. Construction or congestion on I-30 can increase that time. Globe Life Field parking is available for Rangers home games, which usually makes it easier to arrive at the stadium.
