Earthquakes Tickets & 2024 Schedule
The San Jose Earthquakes was founded in 1994 and became a charter members of the MLS in 1996. The team was originally known as the San Jose Clash, but were renamed in 1999. In 2001, San Jose defeated the LA Galaxy to take home their first MLS Cup Championship, before defeating the Chicago Fire two years later for another title. Following the 2005 season, the Earthquakes relocated to form the Houston Dynamo. However, the Earthquakes were resurrected in 2008 and have quickly returned to their winning ways.
The biggest games on the Earthquakes home schedule include their California Clasico against the LA Galaxy, as well as, matches against LA FC, Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake and the Seattle Sounders. Earthquake fans expect the team to compete each season for a spot in the MLS Playoffs. A great year for San Jose fans would be to see the Earthquakes return to play in the MLS Cup Final.
