Cleveland Cavaliers 4 5 1 1
RoundBallRoadtrip.com at Quicken Loans Arena Without LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers are simply not the same team. However, from the perspective of this NBA fan, hanging out in Cleveland among some of the league’s best fans is always a good time. I was in town as part of my Roundball Roadtrip, my personal crusade to see a game in every NBA arena in league, and although the Cleveland Cavaliers are not the elite team they once were, the experience of watching some NBA basketball at Quicken Loans Arena is still incredible. Quicken Loans Arena is a modern facility with some solid concessions and great fan amenities. The crowd still enthusiastically supports their hometown Cavaliers and ownership has maintained a commitment to winning that will eventually take this team back to the playoffs. Quicken Loans Arena is located in the historic Gateway neighborhood which caters specifically to Cleveland sports fans with a variety of great restaurants and pubs all within walking distance of Quicken Loans Arena and Progressive Field. I like the area around East 4th Street, which is located right across the parking lot from the arena. East 4th Street is an exceptional place to catch a pre-game meal or to bounce from pubs to pubs after the game. The neighborhood is safe and offers a lot of variety for fans looking to spend an evening downtown.
