INDIANA PACERS EXPERIENCE:
The Indiana Pacers play in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA).  The Indiana Pacers were formed in 1967 as an ABA team, and would be a constant fixture in the ABA Finals, winning three titles.  After joining the NBA in 1976, the Pacers would struggle for more than a decade, until the arrival of shooting guard and scorer, Reggie Miller in 1987.  Miller helped lead the Indiana Pacers to the playoff every year for more than a decade, reaching the NBA Finals in 2000.

In the early 1990's, the Pacers got off to a slow start.  In 1990, the Pacers lost all three of their postseason games to the Detroit Piston, a powerhouse at the time.  However, Pacer's star Reggie Miller would go on to play in the All-Star game that year, and was the first player from the team to make the All-Star game since 1976.  Though the Pacers have not won and NBA championship, they are worthy to note for their consistency and fan base in the NBA.
