Happy New York Knicks Fan Rick helped with very good seats to a New York Knicks game in April 2012. The seats were very good and I appreciated the good service I received. The tickets arrived timely via Fed Ex and my kids were able to say hello to the players as they came out of the locker room. The kids were able to stand on the court and have their pictures taken as the seats were that good and close to the court. I will absolutely use Rick and Ticketcity again. Thank you. The New York Knicks are undoubtedly one of the most notable franchises within the NBA, making 38 playoff appearances since they debuted in 1947. The Knicks have also gone on to win seven division championships and appear in eight NBA Finals. However, the storied ball club has only been able to bring home two NBA titles in their illustrious history, leaving those in the stands clamoring for more.

Most fans of the Knicks will agree that the '70s remain the team's red letter decade. The squad's competitive streak kicked off in 1970 when it took an NBA championship away from the dynastic Los Angeles Lakers, thanks to the inspired play of forward Willis Reed, who hit two crucial Game 7 shots while injured, giving his team an emotional boost. The Knicks would win another title in 1973, once again upsetting the heavily-favored Lakers in five games.

The next time the Knicks would reach the title game was in 1994, thanks to the strength of center Patrick Ewing and guard John Starks. However, the squad would inevitably fall in seven games to the Houston Rockets and wouldn't return to the NBA Finals until 1999, when they lost to the San Antonio Spurs in five games.

Throughout the years The New York Knicks have featured a wealth of talent on its roster, including the likes of Hall of Famers Bill Bradley, Dave DeBusschere, Walt Frazier, Jerry Lucas and Earl Monroe. These players were instrumental in the squad's title runs of the early '70s and remain some of the most revered figures in Knickerbocker lore.
