Orlando Magic 5 5 4 4
My Trip to Orlando on the RoundBall RoadTrip Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida is a great place to catch an NBA game. There’s plenty of parking available in the parking decks that boarder the arena, and visitors will have no trouble finding a spot for their vehicle. Amway Arena is actually nestled into more of a suburban environment, but for the more adventurous I would suggest parking in the downtown area near one of the many bars and restaurants and then walking to Amway Arena. That way, at the end of the game when most fans are scrambling to their cars to beat the congestion, you can take a leisurely stroll back downtown and grab a bite to eat or a nightcap as the arena traffic clears. The pregame activities at Amway Arena are actually worth getting there early for as well. Several local area businesses and radio stations have booths setup for giveaways and contests. The Amway Arena staff also hosts a variety of games for the kids, including inflatable bounce houses. If you're on site early, I would also suggest entering the arena early. A couple of years ago, the Orlando Magic introduced a program to try to bolster local support for the team. They actually allow fans seated in any section to walk the periphery of the court during warm-ups up for to thirty minutes before game time. Fans are allowed to take photos, get autographs, and watch as their favorite players warm up. It was definitely worth the trouble of arriving early. ORLANDO MAGIC
The Orlando Magic entered the NBA in 1989 as an expansion team and quickly became one of the most competitive playoff squads in the Eastern Conference. In fact, soon after its inception the Magic would put together a playoff-caliber roster that would feature perennial All-Star center Shaquille O'Neal, point guard Penny Hardaway and forward Horace Grant. These key players would help The Magic make 13 playoff appearances, capture five division titles and reach the NBA Finals twice in its short history.

The team's first time at the big dance took place in 1995. After being swept in the first round by the Indiana Pacers in the 1994 playoffs, the Magic came back with a vengeance the following year and made it all the way to the championship round. Unfortunately for Orlando, the squad was going up against the defending champion Houston Rockets, who promptly swept the NBA Finals newcomers in four games.

Magic fans would have to wait until 2009 until the team made it back to the NBA Finals with superb play in the opening rounds of the playoffs by center Dwight Howard, point guard Jameer Nelson and forwards Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu. The Magic were matched up against the Los Angeles Lakers, and while the team posted its first-ever NBA Finals win in Game 3, the Lakers were too much to overcome and won the series in five games.
