Phoenix Suns 5 5 1 1
Great Experience and QUICK!!!! I've used many different websites to purchase tickets for various events in the past. This was my first time using TicketCity. Right away I noticed the difference. Results came back quicker, faster, and more to choose from. I will definately make this my first stop when I go to buy tickets for another event in the future. February 15, 2012

PHOENIX SUNS
The Phoenix Suns have proven to be a strong contender in the NBA playoffs since they entered the league as an expansion team in 1968. The Suns have made the playoffs 29 times in their history, cruised to nine conference finals and two appearances in the NBA Finals, but the franchise is still seeking the elusive championship crown.

Hall of Famers Connie Hawkins and Gail Goodrich gave the Suns a thunderous start, leading them to the playoffs during the 1969-70 season. The team would go on to accrue a number of quality players, including Walter Davis and Kevin Johnson, who propelled them to the postseason multiple times. Unfortunately, they were never able to break through and capture a title.

The Suns made it all the way to the NBA Finals during the 1975-76 season by knocking off the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors and the Seattle Supersonics in the playoffs. The team was led by the stellar performances of Alvan Adams, Paul Westphal and Garfield Heard, but they encountered the juggernaut Boston Celtics in the finals and lost in six games.

In 1993, the Suns would reach the NBA Finals yet again with the low-post prowess of Hall of Famer Charles Barkley and starters Jeff Hornacek, Andrew Lang and Tim Perry. Sadly, the Suns faced yet another dynasty in the Chicago Bulls and lost in six games yet again. The future remains bright, however, for Phoenix, as the Suns are sure to secure more opportunities to vie for the crown.
