LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS EXPERIENCE:
The Los Angeles Clippers play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association.  The Clippers were founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves in Buffalo, New York.  After spotty success the team moved to San Diego in 1978 and was renamed the Clippers.  Low attendance and poor results moved the Clippers again, this time to Los Angeles, where the team would struggle for most of its remaining history.  Recent years have shown some light at the end of the tunnel with the team winning its first playoff series in team history in 2006.

In the 1991-92 season, the Clippers saw their first winning season in 13 years under head coach Larry Brown.  Also, in the same season, the Clippers finished with a better record from their downtown rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, and went to the playoffs for the first time in 16 years.  This was the lone year in which the Clippers would excel in all of the 1990's.  The Clippers would not repeat this success until the the 2005-06 season.  Though a tragically unsuccessful team overall, this team has nothing to lose, and can only improve in the years ahead.
