2012 NCAA Final Four Event Guide
TicketCity will be in New Orleans at the Final Four for your convenience and ticket needs. We have a pick up location in the downtown area for customers who wish to purchase tickets to either the semi-finals or finals right up to tip off.
NEW ORLEANS/SUPERDOME INFO:
Filled to the brim with live music, Cajun cuisine, and French influence, the city of New Orleans is more of an event than a city. The site of this year’s Final Four, New Orleans has no shortage of things to do when you’re not at the game, including the 115,000 square foot Harrah’s casino located right on Canal Street.
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome, located in the Central Business District, has a capacity of over 55,000 and has hosted the Final Four previously four times. The doors will open approximately 2 ½ hours prior to tip off and you can park at garages 5 and 6 near South Claiborne Avenue for $25.
THE BIG DANCE CONCERT SERIES AT WOLDENBERG PARK
The Final Four is always a huge three-day event that engulfs the entire city, and 2012 will be no different. With New Orleans already being the true city that never sleeps, with bars open 24 hours and the always popular Bourbon Street, the Big Dance Concert series adds that little extra that will make your experience one that you’ll never forget. The FREE concert takes place at Woldenberg Park, just three blocks from Bourbon Street on the banks of the Mississippi River and features headliners KISS, The Black Keys and Jimmy Buffett.
