The Radio City Music Hall is one of the iconic concert venues in the world. Located in the Rockefeller Center in New York City, Radio City Music Hall was first opened in 1932 and has been one of the top tourist attractions in New York ever since. The venue has become such an icon, that the interior of Radio City Music Hall was declared a New York City landmark in 1978. The interior or RCMH is one of the masterpieces of art deco and has been the inspiration for many other theaters and venues around the world. Radio City Music Hall was renovated in the early 1980’s and was reopened to the public that same decade.
Radio City Music Hall can currently seat between 5,000 and 6,000 spectators and shows at the venue are almost always sold out. Many artists have recorded live albums at Radio City Music Hall, including Dave Matthews, Liza Minnelli, Elvis Costello and more.
