TicketCity Revs Up Austin Presence as Official Sponsor of 2012 Formula Expo

AUSTIN, Texas (May 31, 2012) –The first Formula One race hosted on U.S. soil since 2007 is a mere 171 days away, and TicketCity is hot on the heels of the action as an official Gold Sponsor of the 2012 Formula Expo. TicketCity, an Austin-based leader in the secondary ticket industry for over 22 years, is no stranger to local sponsorships, recently adding to its roster of partnerships the Austin Toros, Austin’s NBA Development League and 2012 NBA D-League Champions; the Westlake High School Football program; and the Round Rock Express Baseball Club, the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
TicketCity, an official Gold Sponsor of the 2012 Formula Expo, will provide ticket services for the highly-anticipated Austin Formula 1™ Grand Prix race taking place November 16-18. The Formula Expo will take place over the weekend of June 15-17 at the Austin Convention Center, and will allow attendees to experience first-hand the excitement of a Formula 1 race, including race car simulators and a fast-paced tire-changing frenzy in the Pit Stop Challenge.
