2010 Buffalo Bills Football Preview:
The Buffalo Bills have one of the most tortured fan bases in all of professional sports. The Bills have yet to win a Super Bowl and have not made it to the post-season in more than 10 years. However, it will be difficult for them to change their this year, as they lack the talent and play in the loaded AFC East.
While Buffalo has the personnel to provide a high-scoring offense, they have not had much success as of late. Much of the problem has been at quarterback, and this year is no different. There is no definite starter, as Trent Edwards, Brian Brohm and Ryan Fitzpatrick are all vying for the starting job. Lee Evans is one of the best playmakers in the league at wide receiver, but without a stable quarterback he is not much use. Rookie running back CJ Spiller and fourth-year man Marshawn Lynch provide a spark in the backfield.
Regardless of the potential the offense has, it's nothing if the defense does not improve from last year. The Bills ranked 30th in rush defense by allowing over 156 yards per game. Middle linebacker Paul Posluszny will be an important factor in reducing that number.
2009 Buffalo Bills Football Preview:
The upside for the Buffalo Bills heading into 2009 is a talented, young nucleus of players that includes quarterback Trent Edwards and running back Marshawn Lynch. Then the Bills went out and shocked the football world by signing uber-talented wide receiver Terrell Owens. The talent is there for the Bills to make some serious noise in 2009. The downside for Buffalo heading into the new season? They still play in the AFC East, perhaps the most loaded division in the NFL. The Bills will be good this season, but will they be good enough to overcome the Dolphins, Jets & Pats?
2008 Buffalo Bills Football Preview:
The Buffalo Bills are a tough team to beat in the AFC this coming season. They’re young and have managed to finish relatively strong in 2007. The Bills have proven themselves to be a team no one can ever write-off for any game. The team’s future looks bright with the promise of rookie QB Trent Edwards and a strong defense. Buffalo fans will look for their team to drop the losing mentality that has plagued them for years and make a big impact in 2008. Ralph Wilson Stadium will be out of control next season as the Bills try to make a big playoff run.
