2009 Oakland Raiders Football Preview:
The Oakland Raiders have been somewhat of an enigma the last few seasons. You can count on their fans to show up in force at home games, which generally makes Oakland one of the toughest road games on the schedule. Aside from that it is hard to know what to expect from the Raiders these days. For 2009 it appears the Raiders will still be in rebuilding mode behind their young quarterback, JaMarcus Russell, and a slew of other talented players. The question is whether Coach Tom Cable can get the Silver & Black organized enough to make a run at the AFC West division? Watching the Arizona Cardinals run in 2008 has to give hope to Raiders fans that they too can turn things around, and do it this season. So watch out for the Oakland Raiders in 2009 because they are unpredictable, which makes them a dangerous opponent.

The Oakland Raiders will be one of the most exciting teams to watch this coming season. They are a young team with a young future franchise quarterback in JaMarcus Russell, star QB for a strong LSU team; and the youngest coach in the NFL in Lane Kiffin. The Raiders appear to have all the elements required for a strong team and it will be exciting to watch how they fare. Visitors at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum will be lucky to see some the future stars of the NFL as they break out this year, as well as experiencing some of the wildest and most intense fan bases in all of professional sports.
