Carolina Panthers Ticket Information

The Carolina Panthers were awarded an expansion team in 1993, becoming the 29th franchise in the NFL. When the team began playing football in 1995, things came surprisingly easily to the new club. After a 7-9 finish in their inaugural season, the Panthers won the NFC West in 1996 with a 12-4 record. With the exception of down years in 1998 and 2001, the Panthers hovered right around .500 until winning the division for the second time in franchise history in 2003. With an offense featuring quarterback Jake Delhomme, running back Deshaun Foster and wide receivers Steve Smith and Mushin Muhammad, Carolina made it to the Super Bowl in 2003, only to be stopped by the New England Patriots. Though the Panthers haven’t won the division since 2003, they have made two more playoff appearances—wild card spots in both 2005 and 2008. We are currently in the middle of the new era of Carolina football, the era of phenom quarterback Cam Newton running the offense. The only player in the Carolina Panthers Hall of Honor is former linebacker Sam Mills. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Carolina Panthers football tickets.

2014 Panthers Season Preview

Two years after being the #1 overall draft pick, Cam Newton got his first playoff start against the 49ers and while the Panthers suffered a year ending loss, Carolina has to be pleased with where the young star has taken the team. Finishing the season at 12-4 the Panthers put up huge wins against the 49ers, Patriots, Giants, and Saints to get the #2 seed in the NFC. Check back in the fall for the 2014-15 Carolina Panthers season preview.

Carolina Panthers Rivals

Known as the “I-85 Rivalry” for the close proximity, these two teams have developed a heated rival over the years. Both teams have combined for 6+ division titles and have both played in the Super Bowl. With only five hours separating the two teams, the intensity level always seems to be at its highest when they meet two times a year.

Panthers vs. Buccaneers

This rivalry took off after NFL realignment and they began matching up two times a year. Often the most physical games of the season on the schedule, many players have been lost due to injury when these two teams faceoff. Players have been ejected and trash-talk leading up to the game has intensified this rivalry.

Panthers in the Super Bowl, NFC Championship and in the NFL Playoffs

The Panthers have been in the NFL since 1995 and they already have won an NFC Championship and a division title 3+ times. With multiple playoff appearances, the Panthers continue to build on the success they have had in a short amount of time in the league.

The area immediately across from BOA Stadium doesn’t have as many local restaurants as some NFL stadiums, but the Panthers make up for that with a variety of fan friendly activities. Where are the best places to eat in Charlotte before a Panthers home game?

Carolina Barbecue is not to be missed! Bank of America Stadium is a modern venue with wide concourses, great concessions, and the best restroom to fan ratio in the league. It also boasts the #2 playing surface in the NFL as voted on by the players themselves. The hybrid Bermuda natural grass surface is like a putting green and it’s meticulously cared for by one of the best grounds crews in the NFL. Nestled into the downtown area of Charlotte, North Carolina, visitors will find a great city with a thriving nightlife and some fantastic restaurants that’s safe at night and picturesque as well. Although the stadium is located in the downtown area, Carolina Panther fans still have plenty of downtown parking and lots of space to tailgate in. The famed Carolina barbecue is alive and well in all tailgate areas, with fans putting meat to flame utilizing a variety of authentic southern dry rubs. Walking through these tailgating areas, you’ll find that southern hospitality is also alive and well as even opposing fans are greeted with a smile. When game time approaches, just head over to the massive aggressive-looking, panther guardians at each gate and enjoy some excellent Carolina Panther Football. September 12, 2010
Awesome fans I attended my first away game when the Panthers played the Seahawks. I was by myself and walked through Panther Tailgating areas before and after the game and everyone was friendly in spite of me wearing my Seahawks attire. In the stadium, which was beautiful, the fans and a few of us Hawks fans had a great time teasing one another. As in every crowd, there were a few .... but I came away with a real appreciation for the fans of Charlotte! I will definitely come back if the opportunity arises. Oh, and you don't have to stay out of the downtown area because there are plenty of rooms available at great rates close to the stadium and NASCAR Hall of Fame. I ate breakfast at Cutters and had a wonderful start to my day. Great food, great service as it was at Buffalo Wild Wings as well. September 14, 2013
