Cleveland Browns Tickets Information

The Browns can trace their history back to 1946 and the All-American Football Conference, but in 1995 that history was put on pause when the franchise moved to Baltimore to become the Ravens. The new Cleveland Browns joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1999 and adopted the history that the Ravens left behind. The old Browns were an immediate powerhouse team, winning five straight championships from 1946-1950. The organization remained highly successful through the 1950s, winning the NFL title again in 1954, 1955 and 1956. After a couple years lull, the Browns won their ninth and final championship in 1964. In all, from 1946-1972, Cleveland made the playoffs 19 times in 27 years. The next era of Browns dominance was the 1980s, a decade in which Cleveland made the playoffs eight times, but never won a Super Bowl. Since the new Cleveland Browns started playing football in 1999, the franchise has made the playoffs just once—a Wild Card berth in 2002. Cleveland has retired the numbers of five players from their long, illustrious history. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Cleveland Browns tickets.

2015 Browns Season Preview

The Browns have been the talk of the town since drafting Johnny Manziel at the end of the first round, and he’s starting the season as the backup QB. Brian Hoyer is the man in Cleveland for now, and he’ll try to improve on Cleveland’s 4-12 record in 2013. The Browns also added Ben Tate to take over the running game, and added Andrew Hawkins, Miles Austin and Nate Burleson to the receiving corps. Josh Gordon is facing a year-long suspension from the NFL, so they’ll need that extra production should he not play. Cleveland also picked up Justin Gilbert in the first round, who will look to slot in at cornerback right away to help Joe Haden lock down opposing defenses. Cleveland made some improvements to the offensive line, and was able to resign Alex Mack to a long-term deal. The Browns will open the game in Pittsburgh before having two home games against the Saints and Ravens. The two away games at the end of the season could be crucial if the Browns find themselves in the mix for a playoff spot, with games at Carolina and Baltimore to close it out.

Browns vs. Steelers

With over 120 meetings that dates back to 1950, the “Turnpike Rivalry” has established itself as one of the best in the NFL. The two teams have combined for 9+ NFL Championships and 28+ division titles. Playing in the same division and meeting up twice a season along with the historical accomplishments by both franchises, it is no wonder why these two teams have become hated rivals over the last 60+ years.

Browns vs. Bengals

How do you become a rival? This is how: The Browns are named after legendary head coach Paul Brown. The Bengals were created by Paul Brown. The Browns and Bengals play in the same division and in the same state. It is not often a rivalry is started from the berth of a franchise, but in this case, that is exactly what happened. This rivalry continues to get better since the first time these two teams met in 1970.

Browns vs. Ravens

This rivalry is one of the most heated in the NFL and for good reason. The Ravens were once the Browns. After the Browns became a franchise again in 1999, these two teams have battled it out twice a year. With the hatred spreading to the fan base of both cities, the intensity level is felt on the football field. This rivalry has shown no signs of slowing down and continues to be one of the more bitter matchups in the league.

Browns in the Super Bowl, AFC Championship and in the NFL Playoffs

With over 10 conference championships in their history and multiple division titles to go with their 25+ playoff appearances, the Browns will only be adding to their impressive resume in the years to come.
