Dallas Cowboys Ticket Information

The Cowboys (AKA America’s Team) are no doubt one of the legendary teams in the NFL. They are one of the most valuable sports franchises in the world. “Big D” began playing football in 1960 as an expansion team and over the years has cultivated a rich history based on talent, high expectations, controversy and winning. The heydays of the Cowboys came in the ‘70’s and the ’90’s under coaches Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson where they racked up multiple division championships, 5 Super Bowl wins with some of the most dominate seasons and most exciting games in the history of the league. As Jimmy Johnson said back in ’92 after the win over 49ers that propelled them to another Super Bowl Championship: “How ‘bout them Cowboys!” The “Ring of Honor” is unique to the Cowboys and differentiates them from all other franchises. Dallas doesn’t officially retire player numbers or give awards to their most valued players, instead they are inducted into this elite club where their names will live forever in a permanent display surrounding the field. Visit our Dallas Cowboys history page to read more about this storied franchise. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Dallas Cowboys football tickets.

2014 Cowboys Season Preview

It was an all to familiar feeling for the Cowboys, but this time it was not Tony Romo at the helm. While the Cowboys didn't manage to sneak into the playoffs once again, they still showed some signs of life with stars like Dez Bryant and Demarco Murray. With injuries slowing them down in 2013 don't be surprised to find the Cowboys in contention next season. Check back in the fall for a preview of the 2014-15 Dallas Cowboys season.

Dallas Cowboys Rivals

This rivalry goes all the way back to the birth of the Cowboys franchise and the beef between Clint Murchison and George Marshall. This has been called the top rivalry in all of the NFL and “one of greatest in sports” by Sports Illustrated. Because they are both in the NFC East, the importance of the games is higher the pace more intense and you get to see this 2 times every season.

This is one of the more unique rivalries in sports, mainly due to the locations of the two franchises, and is the only dependable rivalry between a Texas sports team and New York team. Putting these teams into the same division was the birth of long standing and heated rivalry. Dominance has swung back and forth over the decades leading to some of the best games in league history.

Cowboys vs. 49ers

These teams were both powerhouses in the 90’s and have been called dynasties many times. This has led to some extremely exciting, high-stakes games with the winner ultimately becoming the Super Bowl champion. The games between these two storied franchises lead to moments like “The Catch”, the genesis of the phrase “How ‘bout them cowboys” and consecutive meetings for NFC titles. This matchup is one of the most underrated yet decisive in all of the NFL.

One of the more contentious and publicized rivalries in the last 25 years, both teams (and fans) can be extra brutal. The rivalry has been running 40+ years and has strengthened year over year. One of the most notorious meetings was the ‘89 “Bounty Bowl” where Jimmy Johnson call out Buddy Ryan for putting bounties on QB Troy Aikman and kicker Luis Zendejas. The Eagles use the Cowboys success in division championships and Super Bowls for motivation while the Cowboys use the disrespectful/dirty play of Philadelphia.

Dallas Cowboys in the Super Bowl, NFC Championship and NFL Playoffs

Few teams have accomplished what the Cowboys have accomplished. They went on a tear in the 70’s and 90’s compiling 5 Super Bowl championships and coming close to a “three-peat” and could have even been a “four-peat” if you’re an optimist and a huge cowboys fan. The team has won 20+ division championships looking back all the way to the mid-sixties. With over 29 playoff appearances, they are one of the top teams in the league and will only continue to add to this number.

Cowboy Stadium is Larger Than Life! All of the rumors you’ve heard about Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, TX are absolutely true. It is the most amazing sports facility in the world. Jerry Jones built this $1.15 billion homage to the State of Texas with one thing in mind … to get your money. The funny thing is that you’re happy to give it up. Jerry Jones has created a pro football experience within Cowboy Stadium that transcends the game itself. From the allure of the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, to the Party Pass areas, to the World Record Setting HD screen that hangs in the center of the facility, fans are absolutely getting their money’s worth when they attend a game at “Jerry World”. Cowboy Stadium has all of the amenities of the Mega-Stadiums that have become popular all over the league. Larger concourses, exceptional concessions, common areas for fans to gather in during the game … it’s all there, just bigger and better … true to form for the great State of Texas. Tailgating is a bit disappointing however. When Cowboy Stadium was built, there was a concerted effort on the part of the organization to actually limit fan tailgating. Tailgating is allowed only in designated tailgating areas. These areas line the periphery of the parking lot and can only be claimed on a first come, first serve basis and they are limited. Parking is an outrageous $75.00 per space, but if you want to see the Dallas Cowboys you have to pay the going rate. Once you enter the building however, you enter a world where the star shines as brightly as it ever did. Cowboy Stadium is an experience every NFL fan should take in at some point, I anxiously await my return. for more information on Cowboy Stadium or my adventures there as part of the Quest for 31, be sure to check out - http://www.questfor31.com/Cowboys-Stadium.htm. A Must See in Big D Be sure your camera battery is fully charged because you'll want to take a picture of everything on your trip to Cowboys Stadium from the outside experience of extreme tailgating and Arlington Ballpark in the near distance to the monstrosity of the building as you approach the stadium entrance, to the statue of Tom Landry... just everything. Once inside it only continues. My only complaint might be that that jumbotron is so big and pretty it can distract you from the live game going on right in front of you. Of course in that case you could argue the cheerleaders and go-go girls on the pedestals are all distractions as well. And if you plan on meeting up with friends in other sections, be aware that can be pretty difficult on the lower sections as you can't walk around the entire stadium on the lower levels so you have to walk up a couple of levels and over. Not a big deal, but I came from out of town to meet up with some friends and it was very difficult. Other than that, I can't say I have many complaints. August 30, 2010
Jaw-dropping stadium Amazing place. Caution: You can only walk all the way around 360 degrees on the 400 level. No lines at concessions, bathrooms because it's so big. Great food. HD board amazing. Great ticket delivery -- Fed Ex'd to hotel on day I checked in two days before Cowboys game. Followed instructions perfectly. Great price Thanx for whole transaction. Great job! November 6, 2010
Cowboys Game! I had never been to an NFL game before so this was a perfect first! Cowboys Stadium is absolutely incredible. From the enormous JumboTron to the jumbo hot dogs…everything really is bigger in Texas! I loved being a part of the intensity of the game and cheering for the Boys with the rest of the enthusiastic fans. Cowboys Stadium combines luxurious amenities with a guaranteed good time to create the ultimate pro football experience. February 22, 2012
