2011 ARIZONA CARDINALS PREVIEW:
The Arizona Cardinals struggled last year after Kurt Warner retired. They could never find a consistent quarterback, often shuffling between the turnover-prone Derek Anderson and the inexperienced John Skelton. Head coach Ken Wisenhunt has made some moves heading into the 2011 season, and there's no reason why the Cardinals can't compete in a wide open NFC West.

Perhaps the biggest move that the Cardinals made in the abbreviated off-season was trading for former Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb. Though he has not gotten much time under center, Kolb has a very high ceiling, and at just 26-years-old, can lead the team for years to come. He also has one of the best wide-receivers in the game in Larry Fitzgerald, who will certainly be happy to have a reliable quarterback throwing to him.

Although the defense had to give up cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, the Cardinals still have a number of playmakers on that side of the ball. Adrian Wilson is one of the best safeties in the league and Darnell Dockett turned in a Pro Bowl performance in 2010.

The Arizona Cardinals play in the West Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) of the National Football League (NFL). The team was formed 1898 in Chicago and is the oldest franchise in pro football. The team joined the NFL in 1920 as the Chicago Cardinals and would win two NFL Championships in 1925 and 1947. The 1950's proved tough for the team and the franchise moved to St. Louis in 1960. The St. Louis Cardinals would only make the playoffs 3 times in 27 years. The team was next relocated to Phoenix in 1988 and played as the Phoenix Cardinals before deciding to represent the entire state of Arizona known as the Arizona Cardinals. Since arriving out west, the team has made only one playoff appearance. This is a team with something to prove, and they're likely to prove it this year come the end of the season and playoff time.

The Arizona Cardinals play their home games at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona – a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. The stadium can hold up to 74,000 spectators. An Arizona Cardinals game is one of those rare and exciting football experiences where you get to see their team turn into a real contender for the future. Buy Arizona Cardinals tickets today!
