The St. Louis Rams are heading into 2009 with big improvements on their mind. Their offense will no longer have wide receiver Torry Holt, but still has QB Marc Bulger and RB Steven Jackson. Throw in a few other offensive weapons like; Donnie Avery, Brian Leonard and Joe Klopfenstein - and it is look out for the Rams. On defense St. Louis lines up some talented players that include Chris Long and Leonard Little on the defensive line. The Rams have been known as offensive juggernauts for the last decade, but this season they will have a salty defense as well.

The St. Louis Rams play football in the West Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Rams franchise was founded in Cleveland in 1936. The team would move to Los Angeles in 1946 after winning one NFL Championship in their last year in Ohio. The LA Rams would win another NFL Championship in 1951, and would be a playoff fixture in the '70s, led by Chuck Knox at coach and the defensive play of Jack Youngblood. Eric Dickerson provided the Rams with more success as their star running back during the '80s. The team hopes to reach that level of success again in the coming seasons.
