GREEN BAY PACKERS
The Green Bay Packers franchise, which was established in 1919, has become one of the most iconic teams in the history of the National Football League. The team has made 26 appearances in the postseason, it's most recent one coming in 2010. The Packers also won Super Bowl XLV in 2011 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-25.
Green Bay has won 13 championships throughout its history, making it the most winning franchise in the NFL. Aside from its 26 playoff debuts, the team has also won its division 13 times. The Packers are currently a part of the NFC North, along with the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.
The franchise also has a number of players that have made it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including Reggie White, Willie Davis and Bart Starr. Head coach Vince Lombardi was also eventually inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Green Bay has retired five numbers in its history: 92, 66, 15, 14 and 3. Most notably, 92 belonged to Hall of Famer Reggie White.
The Packers are the only team to have won championships in three consecutive years: 1929, 1930 and 1931. Green Bay also repeated the feat nearly 30 years later in 1965, 1966 and 1967.
