Quest for 31 Continues in 2010! Going to the HHH Metrodome in Minneapolis, MN for a Minnesota Vikings game is an experience indeed. Viking fans have embraced the culture of the Norseman on their helmet and show up in droves, some in costume, to support their purple and gold warriors. These days with Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson in town, they’re beginning to look like a playoff contender again, especially after the Vikings-Lions game I was in town to watch, this past weekend as part of my continuing Quest for 31. My Minnesota Vikings ultimate fan experience actually began in a Viking-themed bed and breakfast located just north of the twin cities. After spending an evening immersed in Viking lore, I arose on Sunday morning ready to join the masses inside the Metrodome and rally the team to victory. Tailgating outside the Metrodome is a must. Just take a walk along the Purple Lots and you’re sure to find all types of fans dressed in actual Viking gear wielding swords, horned helmets and traditional Viking drinking horns. The other thing that's most impressive is the number of customized tailgate cruisers that you’ll find around the dome. Converted RV’s, Panel vans and delivery trucks sporting custom paint jobs and tailgating accessories are all over. If you’re coming to a game be sure to arrive early so you can take part in the festivities. The Metrodome is an aging facility, but it still has its charm. The fans are incredibly loud and very adept at using the dome construction to wreak havoc on the offenses of opposing teams. When the Vikings defense takes the field, fans respond with a wall of sound to deaden the snap counts of their opponents. My favorite part of the Viking fan experience is the fight song. Minnesota Viking fans belt out their fight song, “Skol Vikings” after every score. For their matchup against the Detroit Lions, it was showcased several times. If you’re interested in more information on what it’s like to be a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, check out my review on the Metrodome experience - http://www.questfor31.com/HHH-Metrodome.htm October 6, 2010
Great anniversary gift! I bought the Viking/Arizona tickets for my husband for our anniversary this year, and it was the best gift I could have choosen. My husband had never been to game and we won the game in a nail bitter ending in overtime. Plus by using Ticket City I got great seats for a great price and I was able to order the tickets early. I will be using Ticket city again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful job and a wonderful anniversary gift for my husband. Go Vikings!! November 9, 2010
Best Support Ever!!! I've bought sporting event tickets for twenty-five years and this was the first time I used Ticket City. Maggie was the gal who helped with my situation after I had placed my order. I ordered tickets on a Thursday afternoon for the Vikings vs Lions game on Sunday. After my order was placed I would receive my 3 tickets via FedEx on Friday. Friday passed and no tickets. I called Saturday morning and explained to Maggie that my tickets had not arrived. She checked and told me that my tickets were lost and she would check into it and then get back to me. I explained to her that I wouldn't be available until later that afternoon because of my job. Maggie told me that she would call, leave a message, and email me, which she did. After finishing my work related obligations I checked my email. She had left me a phone call and two emails. At first, my original tickets couldn't be emailed. So, she and Ticket City bought 3 other tickets, two rows back from my original seats. Then, I had another email saying that they were able to track down my original tickets and to just print them off. I then called and talked with Kyle. Kyle knew of my situation and that Maggie had be doing the leg work. After my conversation with Kyle, I deleted the second set of tickets, printed my original set, and my family had no problems going to the game. I couldn't go, we live 5 hours from Minneappolis/St. Paul, and they were driving from out of state. For people like me who purchase tickets from places on the internet the companies we go through are extremely helpful to get our business. But, once we purchase them and if there's a problem, they aren't so helpful. Well, in this day and age it's hard to get through if you have a problem, let alone talk to a real person. In my case, Ticket City, Kyle, and most of all Maggie were MVP's when it came to service. I wish I'd have ordered tickets through Ticket City sooner. But, rest assured I'll look to this company first and formost in the future. Again, thanks and great job. November 13, 2012
Great Weekend TicketCity was great! I received my tickets at home within five days and my son and I enjoyed his first professional football game. I will keep Ticket City on my list of favorites. December 7, 2010

VIKINGS PLAYOFF TICKETS
The Minnesota Vikings have become one of the most intimidating teams in the National Football League since debuting in 1961. This franchise, which is a part of the competitive National Football Conference, has made 26 appearances in the postseason.

Throughout their history, the Vikings have only won one NFL championship, which came in 1969. However, Minnesota has won its division 18 times, as well as their conference 4 times. The Vikings most recently made it to the postseason in 2009, only to lose the NFC Championship game to the New Orleans Saints, 31-28.

A number of players have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame after spending some time with the organization, including Warren Moon, Dave Casper and Gary Zimmerman. Quarterback Brett Favre, who also played with the Vikings briefly before retiring, is expected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in the near future as well.

Minnesota has retired six numbers in the history of its franchise, most notably 80, which belonged to Cris Carter. Today, the Vikings play in the NFC North, alongside the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.
