The Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are steeped in history, but the organization's popularity in the National Football League may be best credited to their consistent and awe-inspiring performances in the postseason. The franchise, which has been in existence since 1933, has made 23 appearances in the playoffs.
Since the Eagles debuted, they have won three league championships, their latest one taking place in 1960. Although 51 years has passed since this victory, the team has claimed their division 11 times and consecutively reached the playoffs in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
In 2011, Philadelphia made it to the NFC Wild Card game but lost to the Green Bay Packers, who eventually went on to win the Super Bowl. The Eagles have also seen a number of former players inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including Reggie White, James Lofton and Mike Ditka.
Today, the Eagles are continuing to carry on the winning tradition of the team on the field each year against the rest of the NFL.
