Hail to the Redskins! FedExField, the home of the Washington Redskins is an exceptional venue within which to watch some NFL football. The stadium seats 92,000 raucous fans and until the new Cowboys stadium in Dallas was built, it was the largest stadium in the league. The concessions are good, large concourses make for easy travel and plenty of space for lines, and there are lots of flatscreen TV’s to keep you engaged in the action down on the field. What sets FedExField apart from many other stadiums is the exclusive club level at FedExField. The Club Level actually features a fully operational South Florida themed chicken wing restaurant (the one with the owl) and a Macanudo Cigar bar, both firsts for an NFL stadium. The Owners Club features full size billiards tables, antique oak bars, and marble flooring. It’s more than impressive to say the least. Tailgating in and around FedExField is top notch. Washington Redskins fans know how to put meat to flame and their blacktop culinary prowess is proudly on display throughout the day. Visiting fans may want to steer clear of the Green lot on gameday, however, as some of the rowdier fans tend to hang out there and will not be shy about calling out enemy colors. The best part about Redskin fans is the fight song, “Hail to the Redskins”. Throughout the day and hopefully throughout the game you’ll hear plenty of fans belting out their fight song with every Redskins touchdown. Before you head to FedExField for a game, be sure you know how to sing it. Redsking- Giants game 12/3/2012 It was a great game even though the Giants lost. I brought the tickets as a Christmas present and they were excellent seats (section 127 row 7). We had a great view of the field and the tickets arrived via FedEx on time as promised. I will definitely use TicketCity again. December 5, 2012
Redskins are on fire this season! 09-11-2011, Redskin VS. Giants: That was the first game I got to watch this season, and my family and I are obsessed with the Redskins. To finally see the Skins take the Giants was amazing, I was ecstatic. This year the Redskins are a team to watch out for. GO SKINS! September 12, 2011
Awesome experience despite the loss! Flew in for the game from Minnesota (Huge Redskins fan). Since it was going to be my girlfriends first time at Fed Ex field, I bought us the Dream Seats (section 5, first row). What and awesome experience to be that close to the field, the cheerleaders and that action. Plus in the dream seats, you get free food and drinks plus access to the Club level. We took advantage of it all. And despite Washington losing, we had a blast. My girlfriend has been to games in other cities (although not a big football fan), but she really loved the game and the seats and said it was the best place yet for a game (seats helped a lot). If you are looking to have a great experience go for the Dream seats but if you really want to be able to watch all the action rather than really experience then the dream seats may not be the best option as its harder to see the entire field. The Washington Redskins

Since debuting in 1932, the Washington Redskins have quickly become one of the strongest contenders in the National Football League. Their extensive history of talented players and coaches has led them to 22 playoff appearances.

The Redskins have also won five league championships, including three Super Bowls. Their latest Vince Lombardi trophy win took place in 1991 against the Buffalo Bills. Although the Redskins haven't made it to the postseason since 2007, they've been able to claim their division 12 times.

Today, the Redskins play in the NFC East alongside the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. Washington has won the National Football Conference five times since debuting and is quickly becoming a threat to other Super Bowl contenders.

A number of players have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame since participating with the organization, including Bobby Mitchell, Art Monk and Ken Houston. Head coach Joe Gibbs also won Coach of the Year three times while working with the franchise.

The Redskins have only retired one number, 33, which belonged to quarterback Sammy Baugh.
