The Seahawks have been playing football in the NFL since 1976, with varying levels of success through the team's history. It took Seattle until 1983 to finally make the playoffs for the first time, despite winning nine games in both 1978 and 1979. In 1988, after reaching the playoffs three times in the last five years, the Seahawks won the AFC West for the first time. Seattle started a run of success in 1999, winning the division for the second time in franchise history. With quarterback Matt Hasselbeck under center, the Seahawks drove to five straight playoff appearances from 2003 to 2007. Seattle won the division in both 2004 and 2005, and reached its only Super Bowl in 2005 before the Seahawks fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Seahawks have had success again in recent years, winning the division in 2010 and reaching the playoffs again in 2012. Seattle has retired the numbers of two players, as well as the No. 12 for the fans' role as the 12th man. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Seattle Seahawks tickets.
2014 Seahawks Season Preview
Seattle collected some hardware last season, demolishing the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl to win the franchise’s first NFL championship. The Seahawks went 13-3 in the regular season before beating the Saints in the divisional round of the playoffs to reach the NFC Championship. Richard Sherman’s INT to win the game against the 49ers was the talk of the sport until the Seahawks beat Denver 43-8 in the Super Bowl. Not a lot of changed in the offseason for Seattle, with Kevin Williams being added to the defensive line. Golden Tate was lost, but the Seahawks picked up Paul Richardson to replace his production. Of course, it’s the Seahawks defense that carried the team to a Super Bowl title, and NFC offenses will likely continue to struggle against the Legion of Boom. The Seahawks will begin the season at CenturyLink Field against the Packers, a rematch of the Fail Mary game. Other key home games will be against the Broncos in Week 3, the Cowboys in Week 6, and the 49ers in Week 15. The Seahawks were the best home team in 2013, but did see some issues on the road. This year they’ll see big road games against the Panthers, Chiefs, 49ers and Eagles.

Seahawk/Vikings! So my husband roots for the Vikings and I watch both teams. I was so excited to get to go to a game and see both teams play live!! The tickets showed up promptly and I even got an email from the seller letting me know the game had changed from the 7:30 ticket listed time to a 7:00pm game time! We loved the seat location and got to meet some great people around us that hassled my husband perfectly and friendly about cheering for the Vikings! Our friends didn't even mind that the Vikings won because we had such a great time. Thanks so much! August 22, 2011
