Florida Panthers Tickets Information

The Florida Panthers entered the NHL in 1993 and it didn’t take long for them to have success. After missing the playoffs in their first two seasons, the Panthers not only earned a postseason berth in their third season, but they made it all the way to the Finals. Florida won their first and only conference championship during that 1995-1996 season. The Panthers reached the postseason again the following season, but then went on a stretch of missing the playoffs 12 times in a 13-year span. The organization won their first division title in 2011-2012 and they are still in search of their first Stanley Cup title. Former center Olli Jokinen currently leads the franchise in points and goals, and ranks second assists. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Florida Panthers hockey tickets.

2014 Panthers Season Preview

The Florida Panthers struggled in the 2013 NHL season. Florida finished the season 29-45, and almost 30 points outside the NHL Eastern Conference’s final playoff spot.

This result led Panthers general manager Dale Tallon to go on a giant spending spree, bringing in loads of veteran talent. Tallon brought proven championship players in Willie Mitchell, Dave Bolland, Shawn Thornton, and Jussi Jokinen to Florida in hopes of quickly turning the Panthers into contenders. When those players are added to the returning stars of Aleksander Brokov and Roberto Luongo, the Florida Panthers look to be a much improved team for 2014. With so much change in Florida, it is hard to tell exactly where the Panthers will finish in the Eastern Conference, but expect the Florida Panthers to be playing meaningful games late into the season.

Florida Panthers Rivals

Panthers vs. Lightning

The Lightning and Panthers are in the same stat and division, so the rivalry was bound to happen since they were both brought into the league in the early 90s. Since they came in the league, the two clubs have wanted to prove they were the better expansion choice. Lots of fights have come through the Battle of the Sunshine State, but the Panthers have won most of them thus far.

Panthers vs. Hurricanes

Even during stretches where both the Panthers and Canes were struggling, they found good matchups between the two. Hockey in the southeast started out late, but these two geographical rivals have had some exciting games over the years. The two became rivals in 1998 when they finally were in the same division. They’ve been moved again, but it looks like the rivalry will continue on, just fewer times a season.

Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup, Western Conference Chamionship, and NHL Playoffs

The Florida Panthers are one of the NHL’s newest teams, entering the league in 1993. They have experienced some mild success winning the 1996 Western Conference Championship making it to that year’s Stanley Cup Finals. They have made it to a nice four NHL Playoffs since their inaugural season.

First Panther Experience of Many More to Follow My better half and I recently attended the Flyers vs. Panthers game (November 1, 2014) and had the ultimate fan experience. Your facility appeared to look brand new and had many different options for food and beverages, unlike other arenas. Your fans, while passionate of their home team, were very respectful and friendly to fans of the opposing team, which made us feel very comfortable. There were a couple areas of opportunity which would only enhance your already impressive arena. First, your glass boards were a bit scratched up, which slightly impeded our visibility. Our seats were two rows off the ice and the scratches did make it troublesome to view the action on the ice at various moments of the game. More importantly, the procedure to enter your facility was a nuisance. We arrived 20 minutes early to eliminate any risk of missing the beginning of the game. The line to enter was substantial. We were pleased to learn it was only for our benefit for security, but there should be more lines and more metal detectors since there is only one way to enter your building. We, as well as countless others, would have purchased more beverages and food before game if the line to enter moved more quickly. Consequently, we chose to wait until intermission so we didn't miss any portion of the game. Those were the only areas of opportunity, and although they are miniscule, they would only heighten sales. On the whole, it was our favorite arena thus far and we can't wait to attend future games and concerts at your facility. November 3, 2014
