The Pittsburgh Penguins were able to oust the Islanders in six games but face a Senators team that is coming off a huge upset over Montreal. Though Ottawa was seeded seventh, they played like a number one seed and will give Pittsburgh a run for their money in round 2.
The Rangers found a similar round one situation as they took the Capitals to 7 games for the series win. Boston also went seven games with Montreal, leaving both the Bruins and Rangers with the least amount of time to prepare for one another. Can the lower seeds continue the trend in the East or will Pittsburgh and Boston draw the line? Get ready for the Eastern Conference Semifinals!

After taking the Ducks to seven games and advancing the Detroit Red Wings have re-emerged on everyone's radar, especially Chicago's. The Blackhawks had no trouble with Minnesota but their second round hurdle looks to be a bit more challenging.
San Jose has been resting since game four of round one and could potentially come into the series with LA a bit rusty, but after sweeping the #3 team in the West it's unlikely. The Kings re-kindled their game against St. Louis and show no signs of burning out against the cross-town rivaling Sharks. Get rink-side for the conference semifinals to see just how the West is won.
