ST. LOUIS BLUES
After years of flirting with the idea of an NHL team, the St. Louis Blues got their start during the 1967 NHL expansion. Over the course of the Blues' storied history, the team has made it to the playoffs 35 times, captured seven division championships, brought home one President's Trophy and made it to the Stanley Cup Finals three times.

The Blues put together a solid core of talent that included a few Hall of Famers during their Stanley Cup run from 1968-1970. Glenn Hall, Doug Harvey, Dickie Moore and Jacques Plante were instrumental in helping the Blues finally break through to the Finals. Other greats such as Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull and Joe Mullen also brought the blue and yellow playoff success.

In their first three years of existence, the Blues made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals in a unique and unprecedented run in the world of professional sports. Unfortunately, the Blues' hot streak came at a time when legendary powerhouses like the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins were in their heyday, and the Blues simply couldn't match the playoff experience of those squads.

The Blues are currently in the midst of a rebuilding project, but with a few high draft picks waiting in the wings and a loyal fan base supporting them, the Blues have a great shot at reclaiming their past playoff glory.
