St. Louis Blues Ticket Information

The St. Louis Blues joined the NHL in 1967 when the league expanded from six teams to twelve. During the late 1960s through the 1980s, the Blues won six of their eight division titles. The highlight of the franchise came during the 1999-2000 season when the organization won their first and only Presidents’ Trophy. The Blues are still searching for their first conference championship and Stanley Cup title, but their level of consistency has been among the leagues best. St. Louis has reached the playoffs 36 times over the years including a stretch of making the postseason for 25 consecutive seasons. Franchise greats like center Bernie Federko and right wing Brett Hull have skated for the organization over the years. Federko leads the Blues in points and assists while ranking second in goals. Meanwhile, Hull leads the organization in goals, but ranks second in points and assists. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for St. Louis Blues hockey tickets.

2014 Blues Season Preview

The Blues are looking for answers as to what went wrong last season after racking up 109 points the season before. They lost in six games to the Kings in the first round, lucky to make it to the playoffs after a bad start to the season. Blues fans were left perplexed as to why David Perron was traded in the offseason, but the contract was too much for their liking and they got back Magnus Paajarvi in the process, as well as picking up Derek Roy, Keith Aucoin and Brenden Morrow – the latter of which has plenty of ties to the current Blues leadership.

The Blues have big home games in the month of December against the Maple Leafs, Canadiens and defending-champion Blackhawks, before ending the season with two road contest in Dallas and Minnesota. The middle of January is not kind to them either, going to the Joe to take on Detroit before heading to the east coast for games against the Devils, Rangers and Islanders.

St. Louis Blues Rivals

Blues vs. Blackhawks

You can tell these two teams don’t like each other when you go to either arena, and it really does seem to spill over onto the ice. Whether it was the Blues hatred for then-Chicago goalkeeper Ed Belfour (Beelllfoooourrrr) or just the random fights that break out every time they play, it’s one of those rivalries you can feel when you’re in attendance at a game.

St. Louis Blues in the Stanley Cup, Western Conference Championship, and NHL Playoffs

The St Louis Blues might be the most successful team to never win a Stanley Cup. They have been to three NHL Stanley Cups (0-3) and appeared in an amazing 6 Western Conference Finals. Their 37-playoff appearances are simply astonishing.

St. Louis Blues Event Guide

What time do gates open prior to a Blues game?

Doors open to the general public 1-hour before the puck drops at Scottrade center.

Where are good places to eat before a Blues game?

If you are looking for the quintessential pregame hot dog, try 2 Girls 4 Wheels, or Papa Tom’s Fancy Franks. For great Mexican food check out Hot Aztec, or Seoul Taco. If you are looking for a more upscale dining experience go to Bistro 14. Bistro has some of the best Italian food around and is less than a mile from Scottrade Center. A quick and fun option is visiting one of the many great food trucks in the area. Falafelwich Sandwich Wagon, Burger Ink Food Truck, and Cha Cha Chow are all worth visiting. Barbecue lovers should check out Joe Buck’s Downtown, it will not disappoint. Other good options are Maurizio’s Pizza, Landry’s Seafood House, and Hoagie City.

Where is the best place to park at Scottrade Center?

The best place to park at Scottrade Center is the large parking garage immediately to the west of the arena. This garage holds just over 1,200 cars and fills up quickly so we recommend that you arrive early. Another great way to get to the arena is on the MetroRail. The Metro has a station only a short walk from Scottrade Center.

Does my child need a ticket to go to a Blues game?

Children under 3 years old are allowed to enter Scottrade Center without a ticket and must sit on a parents lap for the duration of the game. We recommend that you bring proof of your child’s age to the gate to ensure they are allowed to enter the arena.

MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE TO BUY TICKETS Amazingly cheap tickets, easy to pick them out on their website, and they were at my house the next day and had a great time! What more could you ask for? January 5, 2012
Glass seats are the way to go! I bought "On the Glass" tickets for my husband and my Valentine's Day date last year. After spending hours researching the best prices, the tickets at Ticket City were the cheapest. The open bar (which includes mixed drinks and beer) opens two hours before the game and was open at least a half hour afterward. The food was pretty good, as well. There was roast beef, nachos, toasted ravioli, and a few other things. The seats themselves were great, as well. We got to "bump gloves" with numerous members of the team when they were running out of the tunnel several times. I attached a photo from our seats to my review. November 15, 2011
