Toronto Maple Leafs Tickets Information

As the most valuable NHL franchise in terms of worth at an estimated $1 billion, the Toronto Maple Leafs have been apart of the league since its inception. Since their existence in 1917, the Maple Leafs have accumulated 13 Stanley Cup titles, which is only second to their biggest rivals Montreal Canadiens. After dominating for almost 30 years by winning 10 championships between the years 1940-1970, Toronto has been in a Stanley Cup draught for over 40 years. This is the longest current streak between championships in the NHL. The Maple Leafs have also added five division titles to their impressive resume, most recently occurring in the 1999-2000 season. Toronto has been led by star players like center Mats Sundin and Darryl Sittler. Score with TicketCity - the place to go for Toronto Maple Leafs hockey tickets.

2015 Maple Leafs Season Preview

After the first 6 months of the 2013-2014 NHL season the Toronto Maple Leafs were in great shape to make the playoffs. The Maple Leafs then proceeded to go on one of the biggest late season collapses in NHL history. Toronto lost 12 of their last 14 games and went from 9 points above the bottom playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, to 9 points below it.

This sour ending to last season has sparked a load of offseason changes for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team has a new president, new assistant coaches, and a number of new players. Key departures are Dave Bolland, Carl Gunnarson, Jay McClemont, Paul Ranger, and Jerred Smithson. Replacing these names are Stephane Robidas, Leo Komarov, Matt Frattin, and a score of other new names. Key to the Maple Leafs success in 2014 will be winger Phil Kessel. He is one of the most electrifying offensive players in the NHL and if he is able to continue scoring at will, Toronto should be in good shape to avoid last season’s collapse.

Toronto Maple Leafs Rivals

Maple Leafs vs. Canadiens

Over a 30-year span, the Maple Leafs and Canadiens faced each other 15 times in the postseason, meeting in the Stanley Cup Finals five times, just so there’s no confusion about how good this rivalry is. The Canadiens and Leafs are #1 and #2 on all-time NHL championships with a combined 37 titles. There no language barrier between the two fan bases anymore, which may be a bad thing with the bad blood between the two. This is the Ali vs. Frazier of hockey.

Maple Leafs vs. Senators

It’s known as the Battle of Ontario and it’s one of the best rivalries in the NHL. When these two come together for the six games a season they play, the eyes of everyone in Ontario is watching. The Leafs and Sens have met in the postseason over 20 times, with Toronto coming in ahead more often than not.

Toronto Maple Leafs in the Stanley Cup, Eastern Conference Championship, and NHL Playoffs

Although their nickname includes a grammatical error the error has not translated to the ice for the Toronto hockey teams. The winners of over a mind blowing dozen Stanley Cup Champions and 5 Conference Championships since 1968 the Maple Leafs are certainly one of the most successful teams in NHL history. Their 64 NHL playoff appearances are the 2nd most all time.

Toronto Maple Leafs Event Guide

What time do gates open prior to a Maple Leafs game?

Doors usually open 1-hour before game-time for the general public. However on weeknights Gate 2 opens at 5:00 and the other gates open 1-hour prior to the puck dropping.

Where are good places to eat before a Maple Leafs game?

Not far from Air Canada Centre is Real Sports Bar, which is widely considered to be one of the best sports bars in the country. Real is usually packed with Maple Leafs Fans and we recommend making a reservation before arriving. If the wait is too long at Real, walk next door to E11Even. E11 has great food, an upscale atmosphere, and one of the better new additions to the Toronto dining scene. For a quick meal before the game, try Alexandros Take-Out. Located near the river it is always a fun place to visit and they have amazing Gyros. If you are looking for classic pub food try The Fox, or Harbour Sports Bar & Grill.

Where is the best place to park at Air Canada Centre?

There are around 13,000 parking spaces accessible next to the Air Canada Centre and they run between $20 and $40. If you are looking to stay close to AAC, we recommend purchasing a parking pass with your ticket. There are a few city lots in the area, look for the green P parking signs. These lots are cheaper, usually between $12 and $16, but will be a farther walk. Union Rail Station is located next to AAC and is a great option for those looking to skip traffic and parking altogether

Does my child need a ticket to go to a Maple Leafs game?

All children 24 month or older will require a ticket to enter AAC. If your child is 23 months or younger they will be allowed to sit on a parents lap for the duration of the game. It is recommended that you bring proof of you child’s age to avoid any last minute issues at the gate.

Fantastic experience! I had a wonderful time at the Leafs game. TicketCity was incredibly helpful including a phone call to ensure I was happy with my seats and an early delivery of the tickets to accommodate my travel plans. Overall, the whole experience was phenomenal. September 24, 2013
Season Predictions With the number of new additions to the club, i wouuld predtic Leafs would have plenty of expectations this season and a 7th or 8 place finish by the end of this yr. They should end the 5 yr playoff drought. Only one other club has been locked in a longer drought since the lockout ended. September 22, 2011
