TicketCity Bowl Challenge Official Rules and Eligibility

THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ONLY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT ENTER THIS CONTEST UNLESS YOU ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND ARE A LEGAL RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
The TicketCity Bowl Challenge Contest starts at 12:00 midnight Central Time on Friday, November 6, 2009 and ends at 12:00 midnight Central Time on Saturday, December 5, 2009. Sweepstakes sponsored and administered by TicketCity (“Sponsor”). Participants’ personal information is not shared with any outside vendors.
ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is offered only in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia to legal residents of the U.S., 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Entrants under the age of majority at time of entry (21 if a MS resident, 19 if an AL, NE, or PA resident, 18 in all other states) must have their parent's or legal guardian's permission to enter. Employees of TicketCity its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter. This Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Limit one bowl game entry per household. To enter the Bowl Challenge Contest:
1. To enter, access http://www.ticketcity.com/bowl-game-tickets.html between 12:00 midnight Central Time on Friday, November 6, 2009 and 12:00 midnight Central Time on Saturday, December 5, 2009. To submit an entry for the contest you must select a bowl game for the 2009-2010 Bowl Championship series, click on that bowl page, and complete the entry form on that page to enter a guess for the two (2) teams that will be announced to play in that bowl, and enter your contact information. You must complete all required information fields; entries with incomplete fields or invalid email addresses will be disqualified. ONE ENTRY PER CUSTOMER. The contestant chooses one (1) bowl and that constitutes the contestant's official contest entry. Additional entries for additional bowl games by the same contestant will be disqualified. If multiple entries are received by the same contestant, as identified by email address, or other contact information, only the first submission, as determined by date and time of submission, will be eligible and all subsequent entries will be disqualified. By providing an email address you are opting to receive TicketCity Email Alerts and become a member of TicketCity’s email subscriber base. If at any point in time you do not wish to receive emails from TicketCity, you may unsubscribe by logging into your account and changing your preferences. Participants’ personal information is not shared with any outside vendors. All entries must be posted no later than 12:00 midnight Central Time on Saturday, December 5, 2009. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an on-line entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization, or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor may prohibit you from participation in the Contest if, at their sole discretion, you show a disregard for, or attempt to circumvent these Official Contest Rules, or act: (a) in a manner that affects the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest in any way; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or the Sponsor; or (c) in any other disruptive manner.
PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a TicketCity gift certificate valued at a maximum of $2,000, pending bowl game selected, which may be redeemed for two (2) tickets to the Bowl Game selected upon entry submission. Limit one prize per individual or household. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Contest void where prohibited, licensed, restricted or taxed. If any provision of this Contest shall be deemed to violate any federal, state or municipal law, it shall be amended to conform to such law and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Other restrictions may apply.
WINNER SELECTION: On or around Monday, December 7, 2009, one (1) winner will be determined based on a random drawing among all eligible entries posted as of 12:00 midnight Central Time on Saturday, December 5, 2009 which contained the correct two (2) teams officially announced to play in the bowl game selected upon entry. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received and correct teams selected. Winner will be notified by e-mail and phone, if a number is provided. If an individual cannot be contacted within one week of the drawing by Monday, December 14, 2009, is ineligible, or fails to timely return a completed and fully executed Affidavit and Release as required, his/her prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all entries containing the correct two (2) teams playing in the bowl game selected.
AFFIDAVITS AND RELEASES: As a condition of being awarded a prize, the winner will be required to execute, and deliver to TicketCity within seven (7) days of notification, a signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity Release and Release of Liability. If an individual under the age of majority wins a prize, the winner's parent or legal guardian must sign and execute the required Affidavits and Releases. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use a winner's name, biographical information and likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion in all media, including on-line worldwide, without limitation or further compensation.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering this Sweepstakes, participants agree: (a) to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and all decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding, and (b) that the Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information associated with or utilized in the Contest, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or any of the equipment or programming; (2) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or unauthorized access to the website or in any material associated with the Contest; (3) any injury, damage, or loss to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading materials from, or otherwise using, the website; (4) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (5) any design, typographical or other errors in any materials associated with the Contest; (6) garbled, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, lost, undelivered, or unprocessed entries; (7) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor which may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; or (8) any loss, injury or damage of any kind caused by participation in this Contest, or by the acceptance and/or use of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend all or any portion of this Contest should fraud, virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, systems malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor and its agencies corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest.
