Though San Francisco is home to just two professional sports teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants, the greater bay area has all of your sports needs covered. A short 20 minute drive across the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge will put you in front of the Oakland Raiders (uncertain starting in 2019 before their 2020 move to Las Vegas), Oakland A's, and Golden State Warriors. Hockey fans have a little longer trip but are less than an hour North from the San Jose Sharks.

Major Events in San Francisco
San Francisco is no stranger to to big events including having hosted the World Series at AT&T Park. Levi's Stadium, just South of the city, has already been a host for the Super Bowl and the CFP Championship Game.
