HOME RUN DERBY INFORMATION:The Home Run Derby is a baseball contest that takes place on the Monday prior to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The event features some of MLB's top sluggers trying to hit the most home runs in order to be crowned All-Star Game Home Run Derby champion.
The Home Run Derby features multiple rounds in which the player with the most home run advances. In the final round two baseball players compete one-on-one, the player with the highest home run total after the round is crowned the Home Run Derby champion.
The Home Run Derby occurs the day before the
MLB All-Star Game.
