NEIL YOUNG EXPERIENCE:
Neil Young is a legendary singer, songwriter, and performer born in Toronto, Ontario in 1945.  Young has made his reputation by playing distinctive sounding guitar accompanied by his often very personal and sometimes political lyrics.  Neil Young has managed to incorporate a lot of different musical styles during his career and his influence, approach and playing style have gotten him the informal title, “the Godfather of Grunge”.

After his young musical career began in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Neil Young moved to Los Angeles where he helped found Buffalo Springfield.  Neil Young’s next projects were launching his solo career and performing with Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.  Neil Young’s solo career is rich with critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums like After the Gold Rush, Harvest, and Rust Never Sleeps.  The song “Ohio” released in 1970 about the Kent State student massacre established Young as one of the most well known anti-war advocates of his time.  The ‘80’s saw Neil Young experiment with jazz and synthesizers.  The ‘90s brought a return to Neil Young’s country music roots.  This decade has shown that Neil Young doesn’t plan on slowing down.  His influence has been mammoth in modern music, influencing the likes of Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder as well as Sonic Youth and Radiohead.  He’s been the subject of documentaries and biographies.  Neil Young has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.  He’s directed four films.  He helped found the Farm Aid concert festival.  He has been ranked in various publications as one of the greatest guitarists, artists, and greatest living songwriters of all time.  Neil Young is truly larger than life.  Buy Neil Young tickets and have the privilege of seeing a living legend in person!
