Sometimes called the Gateway to the West, St. Louis, Missouri is one of the most recognizable cities in the United States. St. Louis has also been home to a number of famous pop music acts, from the demure Sheryl Crow to hip-hop star Nelly have all emerged from the legendary city.
The city is also home to a number of other attractions, from parks to museums to architecture. It's impossible to stop by St. Louis without at least paying a short visit to the Gateway Arch. This iconic structure is symbolic of the fact that St. Louis is the last bastion of the East. You may also want to take a stroll through Forest Park, which is one of the largest in the world, and 50 percent bigger than Central Park in New York.
