The Blue Man Group is a creative theatrical performance that is performed all over the world. The Blue Man Group is based off a whimsical percussion that began with three friends on the streets of New York in the 1980’s and has grown to hundreds of cast members performing worldwide in cities such as New York, Boston, Chicago, Berlin, Oberhausen and Las Vegas. The Blue Man Group differ from city to city based on cultural differences and size of the theatre.
The Blue Man Group consists of three, enigmatic bald and blue characters that attack all of your senses throughout the performance that is carried out with ordinary percussion instruments. Blue Man Group use bizarre combinations of strings, drums, tubes, airpoles and more miscellaneous items such as the shaker gong and the gyro shot. Audience members sitting close to the action sometimes get splattered by the different media used from the show! This creative, artistic show is a must see for all ages.
