What are the best seats at DKR Texas Memorial Stadium?
Seats on the west side of the stadium in sections 3-6 have been the gold stand for Texas games for years. They are among the first seats to get shade from the oversized upper deck and it is one of the few areas of the stadium with chairback seating. Other high end options include the Touchdown Club (13C-18C) and Texas Club (27C-30C) both offer access to luxurious club areas, a grand selection of food that is included in the ticket price and the option to purchase mixed drinks.
Which areas offer chair back seating?
Seats in the first 15 rows of sections 101-109, seats above row 5 in sections 3-6, seats in the first 8 rows of sections 111-132, as well as all “Club” seats are stadium style seats with chair backs and armrests. Seating in all other areas of the stadium are reserved aluminum bleachers.
What are the Club Amenities?
The Terrace Club on Six (sections 13-17 rows 54-64), Touchdown Club (sections 13C-19C) and Texas Club (sections 27C-30C) all offer access to a climate controlled club area with an included buffet. Mixed drinks are available for purchase. The interior of the Touchdown Club has high ceilings with a glass wall facing the field. The seating is mostly high top tables. The Texas Club is set up more like a restaurant with more tables and chairs and less open space. The amenities of Terrace Club on Six are below the other two clubs and mixed drinks cannot be brought back to the seats.
What is the bag policy?
All UT Athletic events follow a clear bag policy. All bags must be made of clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and must measure under 12”x12”x6” in size to be eligible for entry. Clutch purses under 4.5” x 6.5”, diaper bags and medical bags are allowed as long as they are within the size limitations following a proper inspection. All venues reserve the right to further restrict what can be brought into the stadium.
