Experience Circuit of The Americas

  • Only track in the United States built specifically for Formula 1, capacity is approximately 120,000 fans seated around COTA's 20 Turns
  • The best seating is the Main Grandstand (with view of the start and pits), Turn 1 (for a best view of passing) and Turn 15 with a wide view of most of the track.

COTA Premium Seating Sections

Main Grandstand

  • Completely covered seating with seat backs and cup holders
  • The start is at Section 110, Finish is at Section 103
  • From trackside (bleachers for the hardcore fans) to Lower, Loge, Mezzanine and Club Levels the Main Grandstand offers premium seating and race day experiences for larger groups.
  • All levels are covered, except Loge seating, but some covered sections can get sun, depending on time of day

Turn No. 1 Grandstand

  • There are 10 sections (6,000 seats) that are built uphill to follow the track
  • Section 1, Row 1 is the front row; the last row is Section 10, Row 122
  • Views the main straight as well as the vista of the Texas countryside

Turn No. 15 Grandstand - (Two Sections: Turn 15 Corner and Straight)

  • Sections 1-7 (Corner), with each section having rows 1-34 and Sections 8-25 (Straight) having rows 1-35
  • The Grandstands provide a beautiful panoramic view of a large portion of the track, most of Turns 5 through 15
  • The drivers run through a 180-degree bend at 60 MPH and are hard on the throttle coming out of the corner; within a couple of seconds their speeds have more than doubled as they approach the climb up to Turn 16 and are pulled well over 2.5 G’s
  • This area is family-friendly with a large section behind the stands for children to play

How do I get to COTA?

There are shuttle locations downtown (15th and Trinity) and the Travis County Expo Center. If you have an on-site parking pass please follow the specific driving directions and recommended routes that will be printed on the passes (Follow printed directions, don't rely on GPS-identified routes). Taxis, limousines, charter buses and Uber/Lyft with the proper permits can transport ticketed fans to the circuit and designated routes will be assigned to each vendor. The track also has six helipads, for the ultimate in luxurious arrival, and helicopter transport from Austin to the track will be available.

Where can I find the 2019 U.S. Grand Prix schedule?

The 2019 U.S. Grand Prix schedule is listed as soon as it is announced by the Circuit of the Americas. In 2019, the dates are November 1-3. Actual race times are announced later in the year. The first day is practice and gets the teams ready for the qualifying round to take place on Saturday, while the main race takes place on Sunday. Check our listings closer to the race and see the exact race times for the USGP.

Do I have to buy a ticket for the race to be able to attend the Imagine Dragons and Pink! concerts?

In order to attend the Imagine Dragons concert in Austin, you must purchase either a Friday ticket for USGP or a 3-day pass. In order to attend the Pink! concert, you must purchase either a Saturday ticket or a 3-day pass. A 3-day pass will get you into both concerts. The concerts are general admission, so you should choose a location from which you want to watch the race when purchasing a ticket.

When do the concerts start?

Post racing concerts are tentatively scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. with the general admission area opening at 5:30 p.m. These times are subject to change at the venue's discretion.

Where do the concerts take place?

The concerts will take place on the Super Stage in the infield of the race track, and not at the Austin360 Amphitheater. The stage faces a hillside that provides tens of thousands of fans with great views of the stage. The concerts are general admission only, however, there is the option to purchase tickets for access to the premium standing room area.
