NHRA Tickets & 2024 Race Schedule
The National Hot Rod Association's Nationals Championship Drag Racing Series is sponsored by Mello Yello and consists of multiple classes of racing from motorcycles to Funny Cars to Top Fuel dragsters across over 20 events around the country. Demand for NHRA tickets is strong every year, particularly at the big NHRA Nationals races as fans want to be there live to see the action on the track. Each track will differ, but most drag racing tracks offer both reserved seats along the drag strip and general admission tickets. Fans can view the seating chart on each NHRA race to determine which tickets are right fit for them.
The majority of races are multi-day events where tickets can be purchased for any of the days on the schedule (typically Thursday-Sunday). The Thursday and Friday races are typically less expensive tickets, and have fewer fans in attendance. Fans who want to see more of the action in the Pits can attend on Friday. Saturday is a popular day to attend, and should still have fewer spectators which makes for a little better access. Sunday is typically the day that brings out the largest crowds, as that is usually the day that has the championship races for each class.
NHRA Countdown to the Championship
The five events leading into the NHRA Finals are the Countdown to the Championship. The Countdown playoff format selects the top ten teams in each class as eligible for the Championship, while still keeping eliminated drivers and teams as part of events at the end of the season. The Auto Club NHRA Finals close our the year and decide champions. The races in the Countdown include: NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway, the NHRA Midwest Nationals, the Carolina Nationals, the Texas FallNationals and the NHRA Nationals at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
2024 NHRA Finals
The NHRA Finals are in November 2024 at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, California, outside of Los Angeles. The season-ending race will crown the 2024 NHRA champions. The best drivers, teams and cars all come to Cali to close out the drag racing season. Fans from around the World make the trip to Pomona to be in attendance for this marquee auto racing event.
