Supercross is one of the most high energy and competitive extreme sport in North America. Supercross features some of the world’s top motorcycle racing athletes competing on an artificially made dirt track which includes large jumps, obstacles, quick turns, and difficult terrain. Typically Supercross is contested on tracks inside of football, basketball, or baseball arenas. There are multiple professional Supercross series, with the major ones including the Monster Energy AMA Supercross World Championships, Amsoil Arenacross, and Nitro Circus Live. For some time now, Monster Energy AMA Supercross has serves as the premier professional Supercross league, and features athletes from around the world, competing in venues across North America. AMA Supercross includes multiple divisions, with athletes competing on 450 CC, 250 CC West, and 250 CC East.
Amsoil Arenacross is another top Supercross series that features athletes competing on smaller, condensed courses that can fit within basketball, hockey, and other smaller arena venues. Amsoil Arenacross is often faster paced, with shorter turns, and smaller jumps. Supercross has been around since the 1970’s and has evolved from a strictly North American sport, to now feature athletes from around the world. Typically, AMA Supercross tickets are sold as single day events, with athletes in multiple divisions competing in a winner take all format. Some AMA Supercross events sell tickets by division, and restrict fans to a single category, based on their ticket purchase.
