Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome
The Alamodome, home of the Valero Alamo Bowl, is located next to Sunset Station and is a short walk from the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio. The Alamodome is an older football venue, but makes up for its age by providing great sight lines for watching a football game. The capacity of the Alamodome is approximately 64,000 fans and here is a breakdown of the levels available to purchase seats:
The 100 level seats, or plaza level, are closest to the field and typically have 36 rows in each section. The lowest rows are so close to the field that you can hear the conversations on the sideline, while the highest rows in this level are situated underneath the 200 level overhang with TV monitors to watch replays since the scoreboard is blocked from view. Sections 130-138 are behind the Big 12 sideline and sections 108-116 sit behind the Pac-12 bench.
200 Level and Suite Level
The 200 level is also known as the club level and sits on a balcony slightly above the 100 level. There are only 6-10 rows in each section of the 200 level, which is why it is one of the most desirable areas to sit within the Alamodome. The small sections mean no crowds in the concourse, which allows access to concessions and restrooms without waiting in line. The suite level is located by the 200 level.
The 300 level seats, or upper level, is the highest inside the Alamodome. The seats are further from the action on the field but still provide nice sight lines. There are typically 28 rows in each upper level section.
