2017 Birmingham Bowl Preview
The 2016 Birmingham Bowl will feature the South Carolina Gamecocks against the South Florida Bulls at Legion Field. The game will be held on December 29th, 2016 in Birmingham, Alabama. As the 11th year of the Birmingham Bowl the game features a team from the SEC and AAC for the annual event. Look for the 2016 Birmingham Bowl to be won on the ground, as both the Gamecocks and USF will try and control the line of scrimmage.

The Birmingham Bowl is played at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama, current home of the UAB Blazers. The stadium was the home of the Alabama Crimson Tide from 1927-2003 and the All-American Bowl from 1986-1990.
The sections in the stadium are cut in half by a walkway, with Sections 10-11 and 35-36 being right at midfield for a perfect view of the action.
