2016 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl Preview
The 2015 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl will feature at top 25 matchup between the #16 Missouri Tigers and the #25 Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Citrus Bowl will be the 9th matchup between the two schools and the first in nearly a century with their last meeting coming in 1970. Missouri currently holds a 3 game winning streak over the Gophers with a series record favoring the Tigers 4-3-1. Missouri finished 7-1 in SEC play and fell short to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game making the Citrus Bowl a statement game for the Tigers. Minnesota has not fared well against ranked opponents in 2014 getting the advantage in only one of their games against top 25 teams including their latest loss to #14 Wisconsin. The Citrus Bowl has hosted the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl since 1947, and also hosts the Russell Athletic Bowl. Other tenants have included the UCF Knights, Orlando City (soccer), Wrestlemania and the 1994 World Cup. The Citrus Bowl was previously named the Tangerine Bowl and Orlando Stadium.
Sections 105 to 113 and Sections 127 to 135 are along the sidelines and provide a field-level view of the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl. Sections are alphanumerically numbered from A to Z, then AA, BB, CC, ect.. Sections 131 and 109 are at the 50-yard line.
