2017 Camping World Bowl Preview

On December 28th, the 2017 Camping World Bowl will take place and feature Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Virginia Tech Hokies. The Camping World Bowl will kick off in Orlando, FL at 5:15 PM at the Camping World Stadium. Oklahoma State ended their regular season ranked 19th overall with a 6-3 record in the Big 12, while Virginia Tech finished with a 5-3 record in the ACC and a ranking of 22 overall. The Virginia Tech vs Oklahoma State matchup is sure to be a thrilling game as both teams battle their way to claim a Camping World Bowl win. The Virginia Tech Hokies will be along the sideline in front of sections 105-111 while Oklahoma State Cowboys will be along sections 131-137.

The Camping World Stadium has hosted the Capital One Bowl since 1947, and also hosts the Camping World Bowl. Other tenants have included the UCF Knights, Wrestlemania and the 1994 World Cup. The Camping World Stadium was previously named the Tangerine Bowl as well as few Orlando-themed names in its long history.

100 Level

Sections 105 to 113 and Sections 127 to 135 are along the sidelines and provide a field-level view of the Capital One Bowl. Sections are alphanumerically numbered from A to Z, then AA, BB, CC, ect.. Sections 131 and 109 are at the 50-yard line.

200 Level

Known as the Mezzanine, this is the 2nd level of seating and the sections are only separated from the first level by a walkway. The rows go from A to LL, except for a few sections that start at Row D.

300 Level

This is the Upper Level of the stadium and is the most cost-efficient way to get into the stadium. Sections 331 and 309 are at midfield, and all sections start with row A and can go as high as row LL.

The 2011 game, then called the Champ Sports Bowl, included a #25 Florida State team versus Notre Dame. The game was a sell-out, and those in attendance saw Notre Dame take a 14-3 lead into the fourth quarter. E.J. Manuel led two TD drives to give FSU the lead and eventually win the game.
