2014 Foster Farms Bowl Preview

The Maryland Terrapins and Stanford Cardinal will face off in the 2014 Foster Farms Bowl. The Foster Farms Bowl will be played on December 30th, 2014 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Stanford entered the 2014 season with hopes of making the CFP. But early losses to USC and Notre Dame put the Cardinal out of the playoff picture. Stanford rides a two game winning streak into the Foster Farms Bowl and quarterback Kevin Hogan is one of the top players in the nation at that position. The player to watch for the Terrapins will be receiver Stefon Diggs. The electric wideout missed the seasons last 3 games with an injury, but should return in time to star in the Foster Farms Bowl.

2013 Fight Hunger Bowl Preview

The 2013 Fight Hunger Bowl will be played on Friday, December 27 at 6:30 PM between the BYU Cougars and the Washington Huskies. Washington is going into the game without its head coach, Steve Sarkisian, who bolted for USC after the final regular season game of the year. Washington has an 8-4 record, with its four losses coming to Oregon, Stanford, Arizona State and UCLA. BYU is also a solid team, with big wins over Texas, Boise State and Georgia Tech. Their losses late in the season were to Wisconsin and Notre Dame.

Bishop Sankey is perhaps the biggest standout player in this game, as the Huskies junior has rushed for 1775 yards and 18 touchdowns this season. The BYU defense is stout, especially when it comes to stopping the run, so this match-up could determine the game. One this is for sure, this will be a close one in San Francisco.

2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Game Preview:
Two historic programs are playing for pride at the fight Hunger Bowl, as the 6-7 UCLA Bruins and 6-6 Illinois Fighting Illini trot out interim coaches to finish the season. Expect a huge California/UCLA contingent at San Francisco ’s AT&T Park, however the Illini faithful do travel well so expect a full house of fans celebrating their state-run programs.

2010 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Game Preview:
The 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl could be one of the top games of the entire 2010-2011 college bowl season. The ’11 Kraft Bowl matches up the upstart Nevada Wolf Pack from the WAC Conference against traditional power Boston College from the ACC. The BC Eagles are led by 2nd year Head Coach Frank Spaziani who will have a big job to try to tame the Wolf Pack. Nevada roars into the game with a 12-1 record and top 15 ranking in the polls. The 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl is being played on January 9th at AT&T Park in San Francisco, California.

2009 Emerald Bowl Game Preview:
The 2009 Emerald Bowl will matchup two impressive college football programs. The USC Trojans will face face the Boston College Eagles. USC hopes to win this bowl game to finish their season on a high note, while BC will be looking to win a huge game against the Trojans.
