2016 Camping World Independence Bowl Preview
The 2015 Independence Bowl will bring the Virginia Tech Hokies to Shreveport to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The 2015 Independence Bowl will serve as the final game for legendary Hokies coach Frank Beamer. Frank Beamer is one of the all-time great college football coaches, and his legacy in Blacksburg will last for a generation. Look for the Hokies to come out fired up, and for talented quarterback Michael Brewer to come out gunning in his final game. The Golden Hurricane have a dangerous passing attack, that averages more than 300 yards a game. Look for Tulsa to try and expose a suspect Hokies pass defense. The 2015 Independence Bowl should be one of the more emotional games of bowl season, and should be full of plenty of fireworks.

Independence Bowl at Independence Stadium Address: 3301 Pershing Blvd, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71109
Independence Stadium in Shreveport is the venue for the Independence Bowl every New Year’s Eve. It also plays host to the Port City Classic and the Shreveport Classic.
This is the field level and provides the best view of the game from Sections 101-104 and 113-117, which are behind both sidelines. Sections 124-125 and 108-109 are directly behind the end zones.
These are the larger sections behind the 100 level, with only a walkway separating them. While this is called the “Upper Level” it’s really just an extension of the field level.
There are four sections in this level, 423 through 426. Again you still have a great view of the field as Independence Stadium does not have a bad seat.
