The Pittsburgh Panthers were looking like a sure thing in the first quarter of the 2013 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl but Bowling Green was not going to go down with out a fight after upsetting NIU for the MAC Championship. The Falcons would put together 17 unanswered points to go up 20-17 but would fail to finish the fourth quarter on top as Pitt took the lead 30-27 with a last minute field goal. Ford Field is the home of the Detroit Lions and has hosted the Super Bowl. The stadium opened in 2002 and is located in downtown Detroit. It hosted Super Bowl XL between the Steelers and Seahawks as well as hosting the largest crowd ever (78,129) for a college basketball game.
